FISH CURRY


FISH CURRY
INGREDIENTS
500 g fish
3-4 tomatoes
8 t0 10 small baby onions
1 green chilli
5-8 garlic cloves
Tamarind 100 gram or one big lime size
1 small raw mango
few curry leaves and coriander leaves
3 tsp red chilli powder
2 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
4-5 pepper corn
1/4 tsp jeera
1/4 tsp saunf
1 tsp fenugreek seeds
2 tsp oil

METHOD
  • Clean and wash the fish and cut 2-3 '' inch pieces
  • Soak the tamarind in a cup of water and extract the juice
  • Chop the tomatoes,Mango ,garlic and onions in a small pieces
  • Slite the green chilli
  • Take all the masala powder(Red chilli powder,coriander powder,tamaric powder,few pepper corn,few saunf,jeeera,2-3 onions,2-3 garlic,salt,) put in a blender add little water and make a paste and add 2 tsp curd and mix well,
  • Marinate this masala to the fish .keep on few minutes
  • Heat a pan in the oil and add the mustard seeds,mathi seeds,few saunf fry for few minutes and add garlics and onions fry for few minutes and add tomatoes fry few minutes and add curry leaves ,and coriander leaves ,mango pieces and add the marinate fish ,keep on simmer ,close lid cook for few minutes ,when the masala cooked ,slightly turn the fish and add the tamarind juice and water ,and salt cook the fish for 5-10 minutes and simmer for another 5 -10 minutes still the gravy thick and fish cooked.
  • serve with rice.
