1/2 t butter
pepper and salt to taste
- Heat the butter in a frying pan
- Break the egg carefully in the pan,taking care not to break the yolk.
- Cover the pan with lid and let the egg cool for 2 minutes on slow fire,For double fried egg ,turn the egg over with a flat spoon and cook the other side also for 1-2 minutes .
- Lift the egg with a slotted spoon,taking care not to break the yolk.sprinkle the pepper and salt.
- Serve along with hot buttered toast.
