CHENNA MURKI

CHENNA MURKI
Ingredients
200 g paneer(cottage cheese)
100 g sugar
1/4 tcream of tartar
Kewra essence a few drops
water 4T

METHOD;
  • Cut paneer into small cubes.
  • Heat water and sugar to a syrup of 1/3 consistency.
  • Add cream of tartar to syrup and remove from fire.
  • .Add the paneer cubes and leave for 5 minutes
  • .Start cooking again and cook with constant stirring till the sugar coats the paneer pieces.
  • .Remove from fire and add essence.
  • Continue stirring till the sugar recrystallizes and the cubes separate out.
